1.Introduction
1a. These terms and conditions govern your use of AJ Partition Interiors Ltd.’s services and any products or services offered by AJ Partition Interior Ltd.
1b. By accessing or using AJ Partition Interiors Ltd.’s services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you may not use AJ Partition Interiors Ltd.’s services.
2.Services
2a. AJ Partition Interior Ltd offers glass partition, steel partition, fire rated partition*.
2b. AJ Partition Interior Ltd reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any of its services at any time without notice.
3.Pricing and Payment
3a. The prices for AJ Partition Interiors Ltd.’s services are set forth in the quote provided to you, as shall be paid in GBP (Great British Pound) Sterling’s.
3b. Payment for AJ Partition Interiors Ltd.’s services are due in three instalments unless specified differently with client, these are laid out as follows: First Upfront Payment of 50%, Second Stage Payment of 30% and Final Payment upon
Completion of 20%.
3c. If payment is not received within thirty (30) days, AJ Partition Interiors Ltd reserves the right to discontinue services and provide a 2.5% interest every month.
3d. AJ Partition Interiors Ltd reserves its rights to dismantle works if necessary if no final agreement has been made.
4.Warranties and Representations
4a. AJ Partition Interiors Ltd represents and warrants that it has the right and authority to perform the services.
4b. AJ Partition Interiors Ltd does not make any other warranties, express or implied, with respect to the services.
5.Confidentiality
5a. You acknowledge that AJ Partition Interiors Ltd may have access to confidential information in the course of providing services to you.
5b. You agree to hold such confidential information in confidence and not disclose it to any third party.
6.Limitation of Liability
6a. AJ Partition Interiors Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the services provided.
6b. AJ Partition Interiors Ltd.’s total liability to you for all damages arising out of the services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the services.
6c. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude our liability, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any fraudulent misrepresentation, or for which it would be unlawful to exclude or limit liability.
7.Indemnification
7a. You agree to indemnify and hold AJ Partition Interiors Ltd harmless from any and all claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of AJ Partition Interiors Ltd.’s services.
8.Governing Law
8a. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
9.Dispute Resolution
9a. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms and conditions shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with United Kingdom British Law.
10.Entire Agreement
10a. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and AJ Partition Interiors Ltd and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements between the parties.
10b. These T&C (Terms and Conditions) will enter into effect without the need of a signature once the first payment has been made and works have begun.
11.Notes
11a. An estimate quote can be stipulated; however, a site survey will provide an accurate quote.
11b. Works to be carried out in normal working hours unless discussed with a member of AJ Partition Interiors Ltd, this will be subject to a fee.
11c. Current lead time as off Feb 2023 is three (3) weeks and can be subject to longer lead times depending on specs and ironmongery.
11d. Plaster Ceiling – If ceiling is not reinforced, we will need to cut a hole to allow for a piece of timber to be placed above and screwed into for a secure fixing for our top pivot. Client to make good after work completion.
11e. Glazed partitioning incorporates toughened glass as standard. Toughened glass may contain inclusions such as Nickel Sulphide (NiS) which cannot be avoided in the toughening process. AJ Partition Interior Ltd do not guarantee toughened glass against spontaneous breakage but recommend the use of heat-soaked toughened glass to reduce the risk of spontaneous breakage due to inclusions such as NiS. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to specify heat-soaked toughened glass at enquiry stage.
11f. Survey is at a cost of £250+VAT. If the survey is completed and the order is not agreed, you will be charged the full amount for the survey.
